BURSA Kyiv is an embodiment of elegant minimalism, drawing inspiration from the iconic Bauhaus movement with a philosophy that states "less is more." Here, one finds simple shapes and forms that are playfully offset by color, texture, and light.Inspirations from the masters of avant-garde architecture and materials produced in Ukraine are counterbalanced by handmade tiles from Portugal in the hotel bar.
With a mix of two new structures and two 19th-century buildings, BURSA Kyiv mirrors the charm and bohemian spirit of Podil. The older part of the hotel was home to architect Andriy Melenskyi, who helped shape the look of the Podil district in the early 1800s. True to its heritage, BURSA artfully fuses historical grandeur with contemporary chic, employing materials like glass, concrete, wood, and brick to create a harmonious, functional, and visually appealing environment.
